Delineations of Fonthill and its Abbey
This work was published to coincide with the opening of Fonthill to the public following the announcement of the impending auction of its treasures by Christie's. This sale was never held, since the entire property was purchased from Beckford by John Farquhar. The text is arranged in the form of a visitor's guide to the house, 'Abbey' and surrounding parkland.
